Organically Grown Company Brand Evolution and Website
Organically Grown Company (OGC), is the largest independent distributor of organic produce in the Northwest and a leading advocate for sustainable food practices.
OGC works with scores of small-scale grower/producers, offers hundreds of organic products, and serves retail outlets from local co-ops to national grocery chains and restaurants. OGC took on the challenge of refreshing its brand identity and repositioning its LADYBUG product line. They wanted to be positioned for growth, to be clearly differentiated, and to be recognized for their undeniable leadership in sustainability and innovation.

LADYBUG BRAND Produce Brand Evolution
LADYBUG produces brings together the harvest of small-scale organic growers/producers at a large scale. This select organic product line serves retail outlets as unique as local co-ops to large national grocery chains. LADYBUG started as a pragmatic packaging solution to make it easier for organic growers to bring their produce to market. Today LADYBUG continues to forge a connection between organic farmers and eaters. OGC, LADYBUG’s parent company, was ready to reposition LADYBUG into an authentic and flexible brand identity system synonymous with high-quality and proudly telling the stories of small organic.

What began with a challenge: How does a mission-driven businesses scale without selling out? Became a new business model that will transform an industry. The SFAPPT owns and supports a growing list of companies who are committed to sustainable agriculture. The SFAPPT is planting the seeds of their brand foundation that focuses on both accessibility and education. The goal is to inspire change and partnership within organic agriculture.
